Reframing for clarity and impact
Budget cuts collide with unrealistic expectations. Relationships strain as overwhelmed people quietly disengage and teams snap back to the familiar. Managing the optics becomes the priority over real impact as knee‑jerking becomes the norm. But how can you know where to focus for the best return when today feels like a tangled ball of wool? And what the wool is hiding is a set of operating model and leadership choices that can be made visible.
There are clues in the signals, but the more senior you are, the more you’re shielded from them. The truth is, it's a predictable system - just one you may not be able to see clearly yet.
I help you turn strategy into a clear operating model and then through the change, so people know what's changing , why, and how they'll work in the new world.
You may already have the answers - I bring pragmatic and positive questions that ensure you frame the problem to get the impact you want. Then we design the simplest path to get you to value.
From problem to pathway
You already notice where things feel off - the friction points, the quiet resistance, the places where good intentions stall. Working with me to turn that raw insight into effective action that holds both hard truths and hopeful futures.
Through short interventions that spark momentum, deeper engagements that reveal patterns, and longer partnerships that co‑create your roadmap from now to next, I help you move from naming the problem to doing something about it - and then to delivering and sustaining real impact.
VITAL™ sits underneath as the practical backbone: a way of looking at your system that keeps everyone honest about what’s really helping or quietly getting in the way of shifting mindsets and changing behaviours.

Five lenses for absolute clarity
VITAL™ is the backbone that connects your strategy, operating model and change efforts. It's my practical framework that shows what your system is really doing, turns invisible blockers into visible levers, so operating model and behaviour shifts are grounded in reality, not wishful thinking. And without losing your humanity in the process, or your focus on results.
It shows you what your system is really rewarding, fearing, ignoring and assuming. Then it helps you decide which roles, processes, governance and narratives need to change, and which need protecting.
Optimism grounded in brutal-facts reality
I’m Rosie Hatton, founder of Now To Next and creator of VITAL™ - a practical way to make sense of problems when the stakes are high and the path is anything but straightforward.
I consider myself a sensemaker and am a consultant who works with senior leaders in Digital and Creative organisations in the space between strategy, operating model and change – creating the clarity leaders and teams need to implement with confidence
I am a systems thinker and have hands‑on, deep problem solving and transformation experience married with executive‑level credibility from years of working with C‑suites in complex organisations, where every decision has consequences and trade‑offs are real. I help organisations move from strategy to a clear operating model and then through the change – my focus is creating clarity so people know what’s changing, why, and how they’ll work in the new world.
On a personal level, living with Multiple Sclerosis - a chronic condition that embodies constant, unpredictable unknowns - has given me the opportunity to take my own medicine and get ruthlessly clear about the right problems to spend energy on.
I can help you face hard truths without flinching, hold on to hopeful futures without naivety, and still take coherent, humane action over time.

What it's like working with me

Work with me
I'm a good fit if you’re leading complex, multi‑stakeholder transformation, are tired of generic change management speak and want a practical support partner - a second brain. Whether we’re tuning your existing operating model or designing a new one, I stay with you from framing the problem to embedding the new ways of working. I’m not for you if you want a template and a training course.
The VITAL™ framework provides three ways to engage - from light-touch and in-the-moment (Spark), to surfacing what's really going on (Reveal), to co-creating the path from now to next (Next).
Gives teams a way to see their experience of ambiguity more clearly. A focused, engaging session drawn from real organisational challenges that gives people language, perspective and a way forward. You'll hear how real leaders and teams have navigated the messy middle of change, and you'll leave with a way of thinking about possibilities that works for both the organisation and the people in it.
What it is: 1-2 hour in-person presentation. Part story, part framework, part conversation.
Ideal for: Away days, lunch & learn sessions, conference keynotes, or any moment where a team needs a reset or fresh perspective on what they're navigating and how to move through it.
Who for: Teams who want to feel less overwhelmed by what's changing, and more connected to their capacity to work with it. Leaders looking for a way to think about transformation that doesn't lose sight of the human element.
Uses real stories from the sharp end of organisational change - parliamentary digital transformation, cross-functional deadlock, landing major mandates - to show what it looks like in practice. Every session is tuned to your context through a pre-brief. Teams leave with a shared way to think about their situation, plus curiosity about what deeper exploration could uncover.

Spark gave you the language. Reveal tells you what that reveals about your organisation. A diagnostic of the system beneath your operating model and change plans - where your team's experience becomes the data. You'll see patterns you couldn't name before, and a clear set of moves that actually address what's stuck.
What it is: 1 day in-person structured diagnostic workshop using the VITAL™ framework. Your team works through five structured lenses, each revealing a different layer of what's happening beneath the change narrative.
Ideal for: After a Spark session when the team wants to go deeper. Leadership offsites where the real issues aren't being named. Moments when the plan says one thing but the team's behaviour says another.
Who for: Leaders who suspect their change plan isn't landing but can't pinpoint why. Teams who have a shared challenge but no shared understanding of it. Anyone who has data about what's happening but no story about what it means.
Before the day, your team answers questions that surface their honest perspective. On the day, I reveal the patterns, blind spots and contradictions that emerge - and work through them together. You leave with priorities that are collectively agreed and rooted in the organisation as it actually is.

Fractional advisory to evolve your operating model and embed new ways of working. This is for you if you already know you need a medium or long-term thought partner to drive impact.
What it is: In-person, hybrid or remote fractional advisory.
Ideal for: Ongoing partnership to turn insight into organisation-wide shifts.
Who for: Senior leaders and sponsors who need a trusted adviser, plus boots on the ground.
Builds on Reveal to co-create a clear, living roadmap from now to next, rooted in real constraints and real possibilities. Blends advisory support, leadership coaching, and narrative work to keep attention on what delivers for you amid noise and ambiguity.
